Hello! from Dean Linda Kean |
This Spring 2026 semester gave us a winter wonderland, but the sunshine and warmer temperatures are coming! I'm happy to see everyone back again, and hope all are staying safe, warm, and engaged with our incredible students.
On my mind is saving the date for this year's 10th anniversary of Pirate Nation Gives, March 4. Please help us continue our efforts to provide high-impact experiences to our students, particularly an all-college alternative spring break trip to New York in 2027.

East Carolina University advanced dance students learned an accessible Black Box Dance Theatre (BBDT) warmup on Jan. 27 with founding member Natalie Morton. The group repeated their peers’ names while combining the movements each contributed to the warmup, giving voice and ownership to the dancers.

| It’s almost time for Pirate Nation Gives, ECU’s annual day of giving! This year, March 4 marks the 10th anniversary of PNG, and we are Building on a Decade of Impact here in the College of Fine Arts and Communication.
To celebrate that theme, we want to share with our communities 10 ways that our college is building a strong future for our students. We work hard every day to achieve that goal, and we hope you will see the great variety of ways we do so.
