Launch Nebraska, created by the Nebraska Department of Education, is a website dedicated to providing tools, actions, opportunities, and resources to support the planning and preparation needed by Nebraska school systems as they work to restart schools and support students as they transition back to school buildings.
The site has a comprehensive guide, planning toolkit, and professional learning opportunities; including a webinar series designed to provide instructional leaders with knowledge and skills related to unfinished learning, instructional equity, and remote instruction. The Arts Education Partnership has compiled an extensive list of resources and links related to the COVID-19 outbreak from its partner organizations. It can be found at www.aep-arts.org/covid-19-resources.

Arts organizations across the state are providing learning opportunities online to engage students in the arts. Some of them include: 

Lincoln-based Blixt Locally Grown will be releasing a short film, Captain Soapman, on May 15. The film is uplifting, while honoring big feelings around COVID-19, and it contains empowering messaging for kids around washing your hands.

Captain Soapman has an accompanying curriculum which explores creativity, COVID-19, and contains a ton of fun activities for K-12 students. It will be available for free on Friday at
 www.blixt.space

Creativity on Camera! is an online program bringing engaging and educational grades K-5 Explore Theater classes taught by Crane River Theater alumni from across the country.
Online at O-pa provides a variety of learning opportunities and engagement activities from Omaha Performing Arts. Performances and education activities include jazz, dance, and theater.

The Rose Performing Arts has gone online with free drama and dance classes for young people ages 2 to 18. There are both live and recorded online classes.
