In this issue: WTF, sure to surge, and West Khos vibes, oh my!
FALL QUARTER 2022
Week 1: Acro-nimble edition.
WTF? Wear the facemask.
Because we’ve learned this week that quite a few folks are unclear about masking requirements on and around campus, we’ve put together a mnemonic device to help y’all remember when and where you need to wear one.
ICYMI: In class, you mask incessantly. Face coverings are required in all classroom/ instructional settings, clinical areas, and on Triton/ university transportation (like shuttles and buses).
Once, twice, three times a malady.
Although COVID case rates are currently cooling off, we’re sure to see a surge in the holiday travel-heavy months to come. Coupled with the common cold and seasonal flu, protecting yourself (and others) from this viral trifecta is imperative.
It takes a vigilance. To stay safe and healthy during Fall and Winter quarters, be certain that you are:
Up-to-date on both COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations ( Schedule your shots via MyStudentChart for administration at the Rec Gym on campus)
In-the-nose with a COVID test whenever you’re feeling unwell
ALL CAPS, no cap.
Sorry for shouting! We’re just excited to share the slew of online and in-person mental health resources available to students via Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).
West Khos vibes. We’re not the only ones dipping our toes into the warm IG waters… Chancellor Khosla also has a new home on the ‘gram, and recently posted three Triton tips for success in the school year.
