We are excited to announce that Triangle’s National Awards applications are now open! This is your chapter’s opportunity to be recognized for the incredible work you’ve done this year and how you embody the Building Better Men program.

Chapters will be evaluated based on the five core standards:
|

Scholarship – Commitment to academic success and continuous improvement
- Leadership – Involvement and impact on campus and beyond
- Perseverance – Efforts to grow and sustain your chapter
- Citizenship – Service, philanthropy, and community impact

Character – Member behavior, education, and values in action
|
Awards are determined through a combination of:
|

80% Quantitative Data (Triangle Portal + Chapter Services data)
- 20% Qualitative Submission (application materials)
|
📝 Application Requirements |
To apply, chapters must complete the following:
|
1. Video Reflection (Required)
|
- Maximum of 8 minutes
- Should highlight:
- Major accomplishments
- Challenges and growth
- Impact on campus and community
- Lessons learned
- Why your chapter deserves recognition
|
2. Letter(s) of Recommendation
|
- Minimum of one letter
- Recommenders may include advisors, faculty, community partners, alumni, or others who can speak to your chapter’s impact
- Recommenders will receive a submission link after you provide their contact information
|
3. Triangle Portal Submissions
|
Ensure all chapter data is accurate and up to date, including:
|
- Academic performance and plans
- Member involvement and leadership
- Recruitment and marketing efforts
- Philanthropy and service data
- Chapter operations (standards board, crisis plan, etc.)
|
|
|
In addition to chapter awards, members can be nominated (or self-nominate) for the following honors:
|

Chapter President of the Year
- Executive Board Member of the Year
- Chapter Advisor of the Year
- Senior of the Year
- Brother of the Year
- Outstanding Engineer, Architect, or Scientist
- Outstanding Philanthropy/Community Service by an Individual
- Living Your Values Award

✅ Eligibility Requirements |

Be in good standing with both their campus and Triangle
|
The following may be counted against chapters in the selection process:
|
- A recent illegal initiation violation in the past academic year
- Having an outstanding financial balance with Triangle HQ
|
- Application Deadline: May 17
- Recommendation Letter Deadline: May 22
|
|
|
Winners will be announced during Triangle’s National Convention in July and recognized nationally across the organization.
This is a great opportunity to showcase your chapter’s impact and celebrate the work you’ve put in over the past year. We strongly encourage all chapters to apply!
