Take Our Master Plan Survey and Enter a Chance to Win an Apple Watch

What should the campuses of Stony Brook and Southampton look like in the future? Students, faculty, staff and alumni now have the opportunity to make their voices heard on a major new campus development plan.

As part of this effort, the Facilities Master Plan Steering Committee has partnered with the integrated design and planning firm Sasaki and will be engaging the campus community over the next 16 months to develop a bold and unified vision.

Your input is vital to this process – please take some time to complete our interactive survey by Friday, May 9.

As a thank you, you will have the chance to enter a raffle to win an Apple Watch at the end of the survey!

CommUniversity Day 2025 planning is underway. Scheduled for Saturday, September 27, from noon to 4 pm, it will take place on the academic mall.

An indoor rain plan is in place for the same day in the Stony Brook Arena.

This festival-style event is free and open to the public. Last year we welcomed 2,000 attendees from both the internal and external community. More than 100 individuals, nonprofit community organizations and clubs and departments from both the University and Medicine participated.

We encourage the entire Stony Brook community and external partners to consider hosting an activity this year. Those who are interested in participating can complete the event participation form. Anyone with questions can contact Heather Banoub at communiversityday@stonybrook.edu
