September 12, 2025
Dear Ball State Faculty, Staff, and Students:
As part of the University's commitment to a healthy campus community, Ball State is partnering with the Indiana Immunization Coalition to expand the availability of all CDC recommended vaccines and other immunizations, including annual flu vaccines, at our Fall Immunization Clinics on Sept. 19 and Oct. 24, 2025.
Public health experts and medical providers continue to stress the importance of getting vaccines to reduce the severity of disease and reduce the need for hospitalizations. To do our part, the University encourages all students and employees to be updated on their vaccines.
Students, employees, spouses, partners, and their dependents are urged to take advantage of one of the following opportunities to receive the vaccines available on campus for a limited time.
|
When: Friday, Sept. 19, and Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Who: All students, employees, spouses, partners, dependents, and community members
Which vaccines: All CDC recommended vaccines for all ages, including Hepatitis A and B, Hib, DTaP/Tdap, Polio, MMR, Varicella, Meningitis, Pneumonia, HPV, Rotavirus, Shingles, RSV, and Flu
(availability and cost of the COVID-19 vaccine dependent upon anticipated guidance updates from the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices)
Clinic Location: L.A. Pittenger Student Center Ballroom
What to bring:
|
-
Immunization records (for yourself or the person receiving vaccines)
- Health insurance card or photo of it (if applicable)
- Students who are not Indiana residents should also bring their vaccine records
|
There is no cost for those without insurance, except for the Shingles and adult RSV vaccines.
Pre-Registration:
To participate in the immunization clinic, please pre-register here. Enter the enrollment code IN65942 and select “Ball State-9/19/25” or “Ball State-10/24/25.” If you experience trouble with the registration link, please try a different browser (Google Chrome seems to work best). Individuals who do not pre-register online will be required to fill out a paper consent form at the clinic.
Save the Date:
Our Spring 2026 Immunization Clinics are scheduled for Jan. 27 and April 14. Reminders and registration information for these clinics will be distributed at a later date. Some vaccines, such as HPV and Meningitis, require more than one dose. Attending a Fall Clinic along with a Spring Clinic can help ensure proper dosing and protection.
Thank you for participating in this important campus-wide health and well-being initiative.
