Are masks required on campus?
Yes. Faculty, staff, students, visitors, and vendors are required to wear face coverings indoors and outdoors on campus except when alone in a space.

The UO’s face-covering regulation includes an exemption for individuals who have a physical or mental condition or disability that prevents them from putting on, taking off, or wearing any face covering, among others.

COVID-19 Cases

  • There were 9 members of the UO community who tested positive or were considered presumptive positive for the week of November 2 as of 10:00 a.m. today. A total of 548 members of the UO community have tested positive for COVID-19 since reporting began. Information about known cases within the UO community is updated by 10:00 a.m. Monday through Friday..

  • The Oregon Health Authority reports 47,049 confirmed and presumptive COVID-19 cases in the state, 2,655 cases in Lane County, 10,312 in Multnomah County, and 275 in Coos County as of November 4.

Reminders

  • The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to the virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention outline some general precautions to minimize the spread of respiratory diseases.
