Dear Colleagues and friends,
We are seeking to grow our cohort of resource faculty with representation from all walks of higher education including student affairs professionals, advisors, faculty, instructors, and administrators of all flavors.
The Washington Center's Resource Faculty are a community of educators and practitioners committed to equitable learning opportunities for all students. They come from colleges, universities, and organizations across the country (and beyond). They hold expertise in equitable teaching and learning practices, professional development, organizational change, learning assessment, and evidence-informed decision-making.
Resource faculty are the heart of the Washington Center. At the summer institute, these talented and caring individuals offer guidance, resources, support, expertise, humor, and more. Participants consistently tell us that the resource faculty are the best part of the experience.
Personally, my engagement as a resource faculty has been the best professional development experience I've had. Not only do I get to help teams realize their vision, I get to learn from incredibly talented people.
If you enjoy helping people bring ideas to life and are invested in transformative undergraduate experiences, please consider nominating yourself.
In Community,
JuliA Metzker
