Say Goodbye to Uploading Nationals Forms

Unlike in years past, coaches are not required to upload forms for the National Tournament or Middle School Speech Challenge! Coaches must still acquire a signed Entry Release Form for each competitor before the first day of National Tournament competition, and tournament officials may request this signed form at any point during and immediately following the competition. Using Tabroom's Online Tournament Features

Join Tabroom.com experts Ameena Amdahl-Mason and Greg Malis on Tuesday, March 30 at 6:30 p.m. CT to learn about using online tournament features in Tabroom.com. By the end of the webinar, attendees will be able to set up and run an online tournament on Tabroom.com using a variety of different methods, including asynchronous rounds, NSDA Campus rooms, and synchronous rounds using an external service like Zoom or Classrooms.Cloud.

Registering for Nationals

Middle School » Registration is now open for the Middle School Speech Challenge! Read up on the procedures, then visit msnats.tabroom.com to get started. Remember, students must be NSDA members with Tabroom.com accounts linked to your roster to participate! The Middle School Speech Challenge is presented by Summit Debate.
High School » Registration for the high school National Tournament is now open! Teams with qualifiers will be able to start the registration process once your entire district series has concluded and your district chair has submitted your results. You will receive an email when registration opens! Follow these step-by-step instructions to register. Please accept or decline entries ASAP to allow us to notify alternates. The next alternate is automatically moved up when you decline an entry, so be certain of your decision. Remember, students need Tabroom.com accounts linked to your roster to participate!

Apply for a Share of $100,000 in Financial Support

We've pledged to give $100,000 in financial assistance to teams and students to create a more equitable experience at the 2021 National Tournament. If your team needs to purchase technology, pay for internet access, rent appropriate competition space, or acquire other resources that will allow students to compete online, we encourage you to apply for the William Woods Tate, Jr., Memorial Fund. We will award the first round of grants around May 1, so please apply early as we anticipate funding will go quickly.

Celebrate Excellence in Coaching in Your District

Nominations are open for all of our district to national awards! Each winner of the following district awards is automatically entered into the running for the national-level award when reported by your district chair. District deadlines vary, so be sure to check with your local leadership about when nominations are due. District chairs must report district winners to us by April 16 for national award consideration!
