Our Professional Accreditation Program recognizes coaches and educators who are committed to furthering their education and skills to better meet the needs of their students. The first available level, the Speech and Debate Coaching Endorsement, is open to anyone who is an active NSDA coach member and may be completed online at one’s own pace. As part of this endorsement, you will take a variety of professional development courses via our professional development platform NSDA Learn and the National Federation of State High School Associations’ online learning center, NFHS Learn. Recognize Academic Excellence
From more than 120,000 high school student members of the National Speech & Debate Association, fewer than 2% of students earn the Academic All American award every year. This award recognizes high school students for academic and competitive success. Students who meet the points requirement are marked with a yellow box that says AAA? on your Student Roster. Take the Free Course: Adjudicating Speech and Debate
In partnership with the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS), this course is designed to help you identify the different types of speech and debate events, review basic judging guidelines, and it includes example student performances so you can practice judging while receiving tips on what to note during an actual round. We encourage you to share the course with any volunteer judges helping out your program this year!
Class of 2020 Points Entry Deadline
