Updates on LMU Loyola Law School Campus Status Amid Fires
Our thoughts remain with and we stand ready to support everyone impacted by the wildfires. We share some updates and reminders with LMU Loyola Law School's spring 2025 semester set to begin on Monday, Jan. 13.
Class schedules: Courses will be held as scheduled on the LLS campus, which is expected to be at normal operational status. In addition to updates being shared on the LMU Community Advisory Page, we share below some LLS-specific updates: Students are advised to check their class Brightspace pages for any updates from professors.
Faculty and Staff: In-person schedules have resumed for all employees. Please contact HR or consult your supervisor if you are experiencing extenuating circumstances or require special accommodations.
Campus Operations
- Rains Library: Re-opening as scheduled on Monday, Jan. 13, with its regular hours.
- LLS Bookstore: Re-opening as scheduled on Monday, Jan. 13 with its regular hours (10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday).
- Sonia's: Re-opening as scheduled on Monday, Jan. 13.
Support Impacted Community Members: You can help those impacted by the fires by giving to the LLS Emergency Fund, Food Pantry, and more. More information will be forthcoming about volunteer opportunities to provide other kinds of assistance.
Air Quality: The Air Quality Index for the LLS campus in zip code 90015 is currently moderate. While we will continue to monitor air quality and act responsively, current levels are trending toward better air quality. Masks are available on campus at the Information Center, Security, Student Affairs, and Rains Library circulation desk.
