Resilient Co-Parenting is a monthly class series for parents and caregivers who are raising their children together while living apart. Join other parents and caregivers to receive support on your co-parenting journey.
Raising a Thinking Child is a six-week program designed to teach you how to help children develop decision-making and communication skills to solve everyday problems. This practical program focuses on teaching children how to think through issues themselves, rather than telling them what to think. Participants will learn strategies to assist children in solving problems effectively, engaging games that teach problem-solving, and ways to help children understand and care about their own feelings.
Triple P Fear-Less is your child between the ages of 6 and 14 and struggling with anxiety? Help your child manage anxiety with confidence! The Triple P Fear-Less program is here to support you. This evidence-based parenting program helps you understand anxiety, build your child’s emotional resilience, and learn practical tools to support their mental well-being.

Wisconsin 4-H Hall of Fame Nominations Now Open |
The Hall of Fame recognizes 4-H volunteers, financial supporters, staff, and pioneers who made major contributions to the 4-H movement at the local, state, and national levels. Any group or individual is eligible to submit a nomination for consideration.
All nominations must be submitted electronically either through the Qualtrics form or by emailing the MS Word Doc to pydadminteam@extension.wisc.edu by November 2, 2026. Find more information and the nomination forms on the Hall of Fame website.

Livestock Gross Margin Insurance for Dairy Cattle |
Livestock Gross Margin Insurance for Dairy Cattle (LGM-Dairy) is a federal crop insurance product that protects dairy producers against a decline in the expected gross margin between milk revenue and feed cost. The program was first made available in 2008 and is administered by the USDA Risk Management Agency (RMA) under the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC). LGM-Dairy coverage is sold by private crop insurance agents, underwritten by FCIC, and is broadly available across the country, including all of Wisconsin. Best Practices for Roasting Soybeans on Farm for Dairy Diets |

Soybeans are a great source of protein and fat for dairy rations, and the recent introduction of high-oleic soybeans has renewed the interest in feeding roasted soybeans. Roasted soybeans have increased protein digestibility, higher rumen undegradable protein (RUP) content, and reduced presence of anti-nutrients like trypsin inhibitors. Roasting denatures protein, increasing the RUP content from around 25% to between 40 to 60%.
