What a Week!

Last week's National Convention was a wonderful time of equipping, fellowship, and worship in Tampa. Read the NAFWB Convention Review and check out convention pictures from our team of volunteer photographers (free to download). If you missed anything (or would like to rewatch it), see the services on the NAFWB Facebook.

Thank you for giving! We have received $77,235.56 in offerings to the convention. This includes a generous gift of $50,000 from North American Ministries. You can still give to support the convention here. Your giving makes a difference. One attendee left this quote in the convention survey:

"The National Convention is a wonderful time to reconnect with friends, refuel ourselves, and reinvigorate our ministries!"

The missions offering has surpassed $30,000. You can still contribute to that here.

Remove the Zeros

Recently, an SBC Leader talked to Dr. Eddie Moody about funding for the National Convention and noted, “You’ll never fix your funding problem until you remove those zeros.” See page 43 of the Digest of Reports. The Executive Office covers the shortfall in convention funding. Please consider putting the Executive Office in your budget if you have not already done so. Help us help you!

Florida Church Planters Needed

Free Will Baptist North American Ministries is excited to announce a new joint project church plant with the Florida State Mission Board in Sumterville, FL, a brand new community with endless opportunities to advance the Gospel!

NAM is currently searching for called and qualified pastors (planters) interested in leading this new work. We specifically anticipate launching this church plant with a leadership team in place but would like to establish a lead planter before filling other team roles. Foundation Grant Program

The Foundation Grant Program began in 2017 and offers opportunities for FWB ministries to apply for funding for their needs. The amount of money available in grants is directly related to the investments in the Foundation. During his report to the 2024 National Convention, Director David Brown noted:

"If you really like the grant program, then I would encourage you to consider investing in our demand notes and charitable investment fund. There are a lot of banks where you can invest your money right now and get a pretty good rate of return, but your local bank is not going to invest those funds in such a way to make grants to Free Will Baptist ministries. We need to pool our Free Will Baptist resources so that they will go further to reach the world for Christ.”

New Master's (M.A.) Degree

Welch College is now enrolling students in a new Master of Arts (M.A.) Degree in Organizational Leadership, with classes beginning this fall. The 33-hour degree program will be delivered in a 100% online format.
