Countdown to Magic Dragon Day
The BIG day is almost here! We're looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, May 4, for Magic Dragon Day!
Here are a few "need to know" items to make the most of the day:
- Event hours: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Pre-purchased tickets & wristbands will be sent home on Wednesday, May 1. The ticket booth opens on the day of the event at 10 a.m.
- PLEASE BRING CASH for extra tickets, wristbands, concessions, and student service outreach supporting the RACC.
Schedule:
- The traditional Maypole dance is at 9:30 a.m.
- Field Games will begin on the athletic field immediately after the Maypole dance. Grades 1-5 go first with the Middle Schoolers cheering, followed by the kindergarten and Middle School field game competitions.
- Booths, games, and concessions open at 11 a.m.
- Concession Stand – Hot Dogs, Chips, Popcorn, Cotton Candy, Snow Cones, and Drinks (Please bring cash. Tickets may also be used.)
- Booths, games, and concessions close at 1 p.m. and clean-up begins.

LAST CALL TO ORDER! Fun New Magic Dragon Day Food Option
NEW this year! As a fun addition to our Magic Dragon Day concession offerings, you can purchase Chick-fil-A sandwiches or combo meals, and a portion of the proceeds will be given to St. Michael's Parents' Association (SMPA).
SMPA fundraisers enable them to host fantastic events for the entire St M community throughout the year.
Chick-fil-A ordering closes on Monday, April 29. No walk-up orders will be accepted on Magic Dragon Day.

Tuesday Spirit Night at Pepe's! Support St M While You Dine!
Support St. Michael's while picking up a FAST and FABULOUS dinner on TUESDAY, April 30!
Drop by Pepe's Mexican Restaurant, 9550 Midlothian Turnpike, between 5-9 p.m. to either pick up or dine in for a delicious Mexican dinner. Please tell the cashier that you are with St. Michael's to receive credit.
St. Michael's Parents' Association (SMPA) receives 15% of all sales. See you there!

SAVE THE DATE: St M's Celebration of the Arts will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
- Visual Art Opening from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
- Music Performances & SMPA/Board Presentations 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Every K-8 student will have a piece of art on display!

Middle School "Starry Night" Spring Semi-Formal Dance!
Get your tickets today!
- Date: Friday, May 3
- Time: 7-9 p.m. (Prompt 9 p.m. pick-up out front of Singleton Hall/Green loop; 9:30 p.m. pick-up for the clean-up crew)
- Cost: $10, purchase tickets ONLINE below (by NOON on May 3)
- Eat before you come, no food provided
- Bring a water bottle
- Dress code is dressy(ish) - Shorts and a golf shirt, skirt, dress, suit, ball gown, or tux are all good! (No pajamas, sweats, athleisure, etc.)

Parents' Night Out: Beach Palooza!
Join us for our final Parents Night Out of the school year on Friday, May 10, 6-9 p.m., for grades PK-5.
Make colorful sand slime, play beach-themed games for prizes, paint seashells, and more! Pizza and fruit will be provided. Please bring a water bottle.
$55 for the first child, $16 for each additional child. Register below.

ALL NEW Zooventures at St M!
Get ready for an unforgettable experience this summer at St. Michael's with our new and exciting camp programming in partnership with the METRO RICHMOND ZOO! Your child will have the opportunity to learn about, see, and engage with live animals including mammals, birds, and reptiles!
Every Thursday starting from July 11 to August 1, an experienced zoo keeper will guide your child through an educational and interactive session with the animals at St M.
- If your child is already signed up for Afternoon Adventures Camp that week, they are automatically enrolled in the Thursday programming at no extra cost.
- If your child is not signed up for the week, there is still time to register OR
- COME JUST FOR THE DAY! Simply drop-in for the Thursday programming. What a fun playdate idea with friends! The drop-in fee is just $45.00 and your child will be able to participate in the entire Afternoon Adventures program from 12-5 p.m
- Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity for your child to have hands-on experience with wildlife this summer!
