Want to help Tulane students master career readiness skills?
Sign up now to become a volunteer interviewer!
Tulane hosts mock interview days each semester to provide students enrolled in career education courses with an authentic interviewing experience to help prepare them for real-world internship and job searches.
Volunteer interviewers meet one-on-one with students and ask them questions in a simulated interview and offer immediate feedback. The experience helps students build confidence, practice the interviewing skills they are learning in class, and to expand their networks.
Interviews are generally about 30 minutes each, including feedback.
What's in it for you?
The Virtual Interview Week experience is a unique opportunity to facilitate relationships with Tulane students and to support career education. You know well from your own undergraduate days the benefits of building a professional network that could provide career feedback or help you make professional connections. Our students are eager to build their networks and practice their communication skills.
Our students want to meet you!
Career education teams from Newcomb-Tulane College and the A.B. Freeman School of Business collaborate each semester to recruit volunteers to work with students in all years and all majors enrolled in career education courses.
