Faculty Course & Grant Release Approval Transitioning to TDX
At the March chairs & directors meeting Mark Reynolds announced that the approval process for course and grant releases would transition from email approvals to approvals via the TDX ticketing system. This approval is only needed when a course or grant release is funded from a grant or other funding source. The release requests will be initiated by Award Management Services (AMS) or research center staff and will route to the faculty’s chair or director to give department approval and to Mark to give Dean’s Office approval.
The TDX ticketing approval process will go live in early August, so we are linking the slides from the March meeting to remind you of the steps you need to take to approve a course or grant releases for your faculty. These requests will have a subject line of TeamDynamix Workflow Step Assignment (Chair Approval - Course/Grant Release). Instructions for reviewing and approving the release are shown on slides 2-5 of the PowerPoint slideshow. Slide 6 shows the email notification that you will receive when the release has been fully approved.
Please contact Mark Reynolds if you have any questions or need assistance approving a release for your faculty.
