2017 German Chancellor Fellowship for Tomorrow’s Leaders
Deadline: Friday, September 15 
The German Chancellor Fellowship of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is targeted at university graduates from Brazil, China, India, Russia and the USA, who have already acquired initial leadership experience and are interested in spending a year working on research-based, self-developed projects with a host of their choice in Germany, under the patronage of the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. Participants must have received a Bachelor’s degree within twelve years of the program start date.


Global Food Challenge Emerging Leaders for Food Security
Deadline: Monday, October 30  

Land O’Lakes, Inc. is welcoming students in the class of 2020 the opportunity to apply for the Global
Food Challenge Emerging Leaders for Food Security program. The fellowship offers a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to gain experience outside of the classroom during the year-long program.  

GW Short-Term Abroad Programs- Belize  

Deadline: Tuesday, October 31 

This short-term, winter break course provides an excellent opportunity for students to engage in a multi-disciplinary short-term instructional Study Abroad experience.  The course is rich in research, environmental, and cultural content. Located in the vibrant and diverse ecosystems of Belize, the course facilitates structured observation, reflection, and synthesis of experiential learning coupled with the exploration of the indigenous Mayan and Garifuna cultures. The curriculum encourages students to understand the relationship between the field experience and their career goals. Register here


GW Knowledge in Action Career Internship Fund (KACIF) Travel Grants
Deadline: Rolling (based on funding) 

The Knowledge in Action Career Internship Fund (KACIF) Travel Grant is available to students who are participating in unpaid internships that will advance their career development and who need assistance in paying for their public transportation to and from the internship location. The grant was initiated in collaboration with the Student Association and made possible through the generous support of alumni, parents and other donors.
