The 2025 VEX Robotics Regional and State Competitions will bring nearly 1,000 students together at LSU to showcase their STEM skills and creativity on January 25, 2025, and February 22-23, 2025, with opportunities for volunteers and sponsors to support young innovators in action.

On October 19, 2024, the East Baton Rouge Parish Libraries hosted their annual Maker Faire, a hub for innovation and creativity where local artists, engineers, crafters, and scientists came together to share their skills with the community.

The Shell Science Lab Regional Challenge Competition recognizes exceptional and innovative science educators, to recognize outstanding K–12 school programs for their exemplary approaches to science lab instruction utilizing limited school and laboratory resources, and raise awareness and exposure of the outstanding work being done in the science education field. Apply or nominate a colleague today!
