Welcome Week Brings Energy Back to Campus |
IVC’s Fall Club Day on September 3 brought together more than 600 students and 66 student organizations for a lively showcase of campus involvement. The event turned Live Oak Terraces into a hub of energy. Attendees had the chance to engage with club representatives, take part in interactive activities, and enjoy a complimentary meal while learning about the many ways to get involved. On September 11, the Puente Program hosted its annual “Noche de Familia,” welcoming Puente Cohort 5 students, siblings, parents, grandparents, and friends to celebrate and learn about the Puente program. IVC Ranked Among Top 15 Community Colleges in the Nation |
WalletHub recognized IVC as one of the nation’s best community colleges in its 2025 rankings, placing the college at #12. The annual ranking evaluates more than 650 community colleges nationwide on factors such as tuition and fees, student-faculty ratio, graduation rates, student loan default rates, and return on educational investment. Men's Soccer Team Dominates the Day in 6-0 Win Over Mesa |
After winning its first match of the season at Southwestern, the Irvine Valley men's soccer team never let up in another solid victory on Friday. The Lasers scored six goals and had several other great chances in a 6-0 win over San Diego Mesa at home. Irvine Valley moved its record to 2-3-0 overall on the season. In the shutout win, Irvine Valley received goals from freshman Andrew Roldan (2), sophomore forward Finn Monk, sophomore forward Isaac Nixon, sophomore forward Armin Tehrani and freshman forward Drew Payne.
