Summer 2026 Course Registration

Start planning your summer today! The 6-week summer class schedule can now be viewed on the website and in Albert. You may take up to 8 credits per summer session. Class registration is now open. Please contact your Academic Advisor to lift your hold before enrolling. Email shanghai.summer@nyu.edu if you have any questions.

Summer Chinese Language Immersion Program

Application Deadline Extended

Program Dates: May 29 - August 1, 2026

You can still apply to the Summer Chinese Language Immersion Program! The application deadline has been extended. This program enables students to complete one year of material and earn 8 credits in just nine weeks. Five levels are offered: Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced, Post-Advanced, and Post-Advanced II. Follow the instructions to apply for admission. Contact shanghai.summer@nyu.edu with any questions!

CCL Summer Camp Counselor Application

Apply to be a CCL Summer Camp Counselor and support migrant youth in Shanghai through learning, mentorship, and meaningful connection. Gain hands-on experience in education, teamwork, and leadership while making a real impact. Stipend, free housing, and 2 free academic credits provided. Post-advanced Chinese proficiency required.
