Shashi and Subhash Bhatia — School of Medicine professors for more than four decades — say they established a new endowed chair to pay back (and pay forward) a Creighton kindness from nearly 50 years ago. “You can never forget the places and people who have gotten you where you are. How sweet it is!

Creighton women's basketball scored its first-ever trip to the Sweet 16 on Sunday with a 64-62 win over No. 8 Iowa, clinching their victory in the last 12.6 seconds with a three-pointer by Iowa transfer Laura Jensen. On Friday, the team will advance to the regional semifinals against Iowa State. Check out images from the game.

Holy historic alumnus, Batman!

With The Batman in theaters, we're looking bat-ck at the alumnus who rescued the Caped Crusader from oblivion. Our hero was William Dozier, Law’31, PhB’32, creator (and narrator) of the 1966 Batman TV series. See how a man who once studied to become a Jesuit and hated comic books ended up shaping 50 years of superhero pop culture. Read more.
