Conference Day and Easter Holidays This Week

A friendly reminder that Thursday, April 14-Monday, April 18 are student holidays.
Thursday, April 14, is Conference Day (No Classes).
  • Extended Day is available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to those who register BY APRIL 12 using tinyurl.com/EDdropin.
  • If you are bringing children to in-person conferences, they must wait outside of the classroom with a quiet activity such as a book. For student safety, children may NOT be in other areas of campus during this time, including the playground area.
On Friday, April 15, and Monday, April 18, St. Michael's is CLOSED for the Easter holidays. Have a blessed Easter!

Q3 Parent/Teacher Conferences and Report Cards

Middle School teachers/advisors sent out emails to families on March 31 to sign up for portfolio conferences to be held on the designated conference day of Thursday, April 14.
  • Middle School report cards were posted online via PowerSchool on Friday, April 7.
Lower School conference sign-ups were also mailed to families on Thursday, March 31.
  • Lower School report cards will be sent home in backpacks on Monday, April 11.

2nd Grade Writing Project on Drew Barrymore Show

In case you missed it, our 2nd Grade's writing collaboration with the RACC was featured on Wednesday on the Drew Barrymore Show, with Drew sharing that the story would "melt your heart" and should be an "example others schools should follow."
While the updated number of dogs adopted from the project is now an amazing 20 of 24 dogs, we are delighted that St. Michael's innovative teaching continues to stay in the spotlight and hope it inspires other schools to partner with their local shelters!

SHOOD Drive Continues Through April 11

St M is excited to continue our partnership with SHOOD, founded by St. Michael's parent Robin Telfian.
This year, we are accepting donations for a new initiative started in 2019 called "Shooding" Stars (Flyer Link). Our Middle School students will be putting together First Aid Kits for these bags as well. Thank you in advance for supporting this wonderful organization and important cause!
  • Grades K-1:  Nail clippers
  • Grades 2-3:  Small foot powder
  • Grades 4-5:  Chapstick
  • Middle School:  Small containers of sunscreen OR gently-used running shoes/track spikes

Change of Clothes and Daily Snacks/Water

All K-5 children should have a seasonally-appropriate change of clothes at school (in a ziplock bag). Students are outside and on our trails and may need to change if they become muddy or wet.
All K-8 students should also bring a SNACK and a WATER BOTTLE to school EVERY DAY. Thank you for your help.

Got Lunch?

Ordering for Hot Lunch closes the Saturday before the following week. You may place orders ahead for upcoming weeks.  Click HERE for info and to register.
