A group of Clemson University chemists, led by professor Sourav Saha (middle), has developed new dual-conductive materials that simultaneously transport lithium ions and electrons. Their development could improve the performance, safety and longevity of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.
Amira Jadoon, associate professor in the Department of Political Science, has received the Harry Frank Guggenheim Distinguished Scholar Award from the Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation. The award recognizes leading scholars and supports high-impact research on the causes, dynamics and control of violence and aggression.

The Emeritus College will host two upcoming guest speakers to mark the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution in South Carolina. History professor Rod Andrew will present this Thursday, and Carolyn Nations, chair of the Pickens County SC250 Committee, will present on March 27.
- Campus Recreation will offer Well-Being Workshops on March 6 and 27. The workshops will give participants a better understanding of their own well-being while learning practical strategies to cultivate happiness and apply the eight dimensions of well-being in daily life.
