Thanksgiving Food Drive Continues This Week!


St. Michael's annual all-school food drive continues through THIS FRIDAY, November 21. Donations will benefit the St. Michael's Church Food Pantry, which provides meals for nearly 1000 people each month, including monthly support for Friends of the Homeless and Monarch Woods, an apartment community for low-income seniors.
The Church provided this list of needed items. Food items will be collected in Lower School homerooms and in the Middle School Great Hall. 
Please ensure the canned goods you donate from your pantry have not expired. (No glass jars, please.)
The food collected will be blessed at our Thanksgiving Chapel service. As Harvest Helpers, our fifth graders will sort all the food donations, deliver them to the Food Pantry, and learn more about our community partners as we respond to food insecurity in Richmond.

Holly Jolly! Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting

Save the Date: Our Annual Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting on Thursday, December 4, at 6 p.m. It's a much-loved and must-see event!
Important Note: Extended Day closes that day at 4:30 p.m.
Join us for a festive evening featuring a float parade around The Green, choral performances, all-school caroling, and the lighting of the Christmas tree. Santa himself will even make a special appearance. It is sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

Skip the cooking and grab Chick-fil-A for dinner before the Christmas Parade! Orders will be ready for pickup at 5:00 p.m. under the basketball hoops — perfect timing to fuel up and get parade-ready.

Illness Reporting Protocol/Form

For the health and safety of all of our students, faculty, and staff, thank you for informing St. Michael’s if your child is ill and/or has a suspected contagious illness. 
Upon receipt of this information, Nurse Maben, St M's school nurse, will contact the family. Please keep your child(ren) AT HOME until contacted by Nurse Maben.
