The Beryl Institute | Patient Experience Monthly
ON THE ROAD

Our latest On the Road took us to Colorado’s front range to visit Littleton Adventist Hospital (LAH), one of 17 hospitals in the Centura Health System. A full-service medical center, LAH has provided compassionate healthcare for more than 25 years with their commitment to patient experience and enhancing efforts through employee engagement, patient and family engagement, process improvements and community involvement.

CASE STUDY

Baylor Scott & White Health recognized a need for real-time data to inform efforts to improve the experience of patients and team members in hospitals. They adopted a point-of-care data gathering tool to gather consistent data on patient concerns, improvement ideas and opportunities to recognize staff and trigger actions for remediation of concerns.
