Early Dismissal on Wednesday


A friendly reminder that Wednesday, September 27 is an early dismissal day. The Middle School dismisses at 11:45 a.m. and the Lower School at noon.
Need drop-in childcare that afternoon?
Our Extended Day program will be open from 12-6 p.m. at the Lower School and 11:45 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Middle School.
Reservations are required. Limited space available. To make a reservation for your child, click HERE.
Note: Lower School families: If you are registered for the Core Extended Day program, this half-day of care is included in your contract so sign-up is not required.
All Middle School families who need care are required to register. Space available on a first come, first served basis.

Planning for High School: A Program for Eighth Grade Families


St. Michael's invites our Eighth Grade families to attend our High School Planning Program on Friday, October 6, from 1-2:50 p.m. to learn about options and the application process.
The schedule for this program is as follows: 
  • 1:00 p.m.    Parent education program (Allen Library)
  • 1:55 p.m.    8th grade students join the discussion (Allen Library)
  • 2:05 p.m.    Open House for high schools (Great Hall)

Basketball 

Planning is already underway for our 2017-2018 Middle School winter basketball program.

We would like to take a quick poll to ascertain approximately how many students plan to participate in Middle School Boys' and Girls' JV and Varsity basketball.

Admissions Yard Sign Ambassadors

  • St M Kindergarten Open Houses for Prospective Parents are scheduled for October 25 and October 26 at 9:30 am. Interested families can register here.
  • St M Middle School Open House for Prospective Parents is scheduled for Sunday, November 12 at 2 p.m. Interested families can register here.

Earn Money for St. Michael's while Shopping at Kroger!

The Kroger Community Rewards Program allows families who already shop at their stores to earn money for an organization of their choice. Just link your Kroger Plus Card number to St. Michael’s to support the School every time you shop! Please encourage family members who shop at Kroger to link their cards to our School.
How do I link my card?
  • Sign in to your digital account at Kroger.com.
  • Select “My Account” under the “Welcome Valued Customer” drop down menu on the upper right side.
  • Scroll down to the “Kroger Community Rewards” section of your account page.
  • Select “Enroll Now” or “Edit.”
  • When prompted enter the School’s organization number: 82190 or “St Michael’s” (no period).
  • Click “Save.”

Lower School Birthday Books

The deadline for submitting Birthday Books for the October 19 program is September 28.
Mrs. Wise has a selection of new books in the Lower School library from which to choose.  Please feel free to email her (cwise@stmschool.net)  if you have any questions.

Hurricane Fundraising

A big THANK YOU to all those who participated in the Hurricane Relief Dress Down Fundraiser on Friday! The Lower School and Middle School collectively raised $1481 which will be sent to the Episcopal Relief and Development Fund.

1-3 p.m.
Register and/or Donate HERE! All ages are invited to partner with us and other Bon Air Churches to meet our goal of $10,000 to end hunger. A portion of the proceeds will be going to the Chesterfield Food Bank and Meals on Wheels.
