Meet the Fellowship Care Team

by Dana Johnson

The Fellowship Care Team is here for your joys and concerns throughout your connections with our congregation. Each member of the Care Team has professional and personal backgrounds that contribute to our compassionate healing and listening roles. We provide listening in a healing way; seeking to honor confidentiality, provide a listening presence to others, love each other in joys, sorrows, and transition, honoring safety to keep the trust between us and to learn and grow together. From time to time, you will find us connecting with you in person, telephone, email, or postal mail. We are compassionate caregivers who wish to provide lay ministry to embrace you and help you on life's journey. We look forward to knowing each and every one of you and sharing in life's mysteries.

Fellowship Closure Update by Rev. Christina Leone-Tracy

As promised this summer, here is an update about the closure of the Fellowship building and our policy regarding the Covid-19 pandemic. In light of the recent outbreaks in northeast Wisconsin, we are grateful to have held steady with our decision to remain closed, and not needing to make new plans. We remain fully closed (with a few exceptions with extreme precautions) and are not approving any in-person gatherings. We recognize that Zoom is not the ideal way to gather as a community, but we continue to offer worship, Religious Education, Wellspring, and other programs online and are working hard to maintain connections and community in ways that do not contribute to the community spread of this virus. Our Appleton Health Department briefed clergy recently and implored us to communicate that the outbreaks in our region are serious and severe. Do not gather in groups, connect with others if at all possible outdoors, and wear a mask to protect yourself and others. We love you and can’t wait to embrace you in person! Until that time, we’ll see you online.

Popcorn Fundraiser for Deva 2022

We’re doing a Double Good Popcorn virtual fundraiser to support travelers (especially youth!) going to Deva, Transylvania in 2022! It’s 100% contactless, the group earns 50% of the profit, and the product ships right to you, the buyer! Prices range from $16 - $99. It’s really delicious!
To participate in our fundraiser: Click HERE to order – super easy! Our pop-up store will be open from Thursday 10/15 through Sunday 10/18. The popcorn is made in Chicago, fresh just for us, then sent out to your home, workplace, family, or wherever you want it to go!
In the event that travel is not feasible, the funds will support the general mission of the Partner Church program. Contact Theresa Spoehr @ welivemindfully@gmail.com with questions.
