Lettuce Drink Wine Tomorrow

Please join us for a wine tasting event to benefit the HAVEN Garden Project on April 3 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The event, held at at Scavolini by Cucina Moda in Birmingham, will raise funds to support HAVEN's half acre organic garden, which produces nearly 2 tons of produce each season. Tickets are $50 each.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month 

Join forces with HAVEN this month to bring awareness to sexual violence in our communities. Share the information we post on Facebook and Twitter and understand YOUR role in prevention. 
If you or someone you know has been a victim of sexual assault and needs help, call our Crisis and Support Line at 877-922-1274. 

National Volunteer Week is April 6-12

The 2011 Nobel Peace Laureate, Leymah Gbowee said: "We all have the power in us to change the tide." 
Our volunteers have followed that call and we are very fortunate to have their support. As an organization that was orginally founded by volunteers in 1975, they still remain an integral part of our team today. 
We greatly appreciate the involvement, time, spirit and passion of each of the individuals who contribute to creating communities where everyone LIVES WITHOUT FEAR. Thank you to each of you for your service.
