HONORARY DEGREE LMU will confer an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree on Gail Abarbanel, founder and director of the RapeTreatment Center and Stuart House at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center. The university is honoring Abarbanel’s vision, leadership and tireless commitment to social justice in her work with rape survivors, police and medical health personnel in the ceremony on April 25.
