University graduation policy reminders:

1. Students must graduate with all majors and minors at the same time. They cannot graduate with a major then add a minor later. 

2. Students cannot graduate with any pending study abroad credit, waiting grade, or incomplete on their record.

3. Students who are pursuing undergraduate certificates must apply for graduation with that certificate in addition to the application submitted for their major/minor. They will apply for both in the same way, but must submit the application separately.

On behalf of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, College Undergraduate Academic Services recently hosted two student focused events intended for students to connect with the College, their departments, and resources for success across campus.

A huge thank you to all of the departments, campus partners, staff and faculty that helped host the College Carnival.

With near record breaking attendance, we welcomed over 500 students on Academic Day on August 23rd. 

With support from campus units we were able to provide students with resources for success and connect directly with many new transfer students on August 26th.

The transfer students got an idea of their home base, provided feedback on their transfer to KU, and received targeted resources for their wellness and success in the College. 

Our office is hiring for a full time degree analyst position. This position certifies completion of College degrees, NCAA eligibility, presents information at campus meetings, and more! If you know someone who may enjoy this type of work, please share this information with them! Job posting will close on September 21st, 2026.
