Get Your Tickets for Shine on March 21
|
On Saturday, March 21 at ilani, join us for Shine, YWCA Clark County’s signature gala — a celebration of resilience, community, and hope. This unforgettable evening is our only fundraiser supporting YWCA’s vital programs — from SafeChoice Domestic Violence Services and the Sexual Assault Program to Prevention Education and Y’s Care, the area’s only therapeutic preschool.
Every ticket purchased helps ensure survivors have a safe place to turn, families receive the care and support they need, and young children can learn and heal in environments rooted in safety, stability, and dignity.
At a time when federal funding shifts have made life harder for the most vulnerable, your attendance is more than a night out — it’s a powerful statement that you still believe in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Together, we shine brighter when we stand for what’s right.
Reserve your seat today and be part of this inspiring night of connection, purpose, and celebration.

YWCA Clark County Advocates in Olympia for Safety, Stability, and Opportunity
|
Earlier this week, YWCA Clark County CEO Brittini Lasseigne and frontline staff traveled to Olympia to advocate for policies that strengthen safety, stability, and opportunity in Southwest Washington, alongside other YWCAs and gender-based violence organizations from across the state.
Team members shared YWCA’s 2026 Legislative Priorities and underscored the urgent need to invest in survivors, families, and communities.
YWCA Clark County’s top priorities this session include:
Funding: Securing $600,000 to continue Phase One of our Housing & Empowerment Campus, which will create 50–80 affordable housing units and trauma-informed healing spaces in Vancouver.
Stability: Supporting a $21.38 million investment in the Office of Crime Victims Advocacy to sustain critical survivor services impacted by federal VOCA cuts.
Unity: Backing the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence’s initiatives to maintain support for survivors and expand resources for BIPOC and immigrant families.
“Advocacy is at the heart of our mission,” said Brittini. “By working with our state’s decision-makers, we’re shaping a future where every person has access to safety, stability, and the opportunity to thrive.”
Together—with the community’s continued support—YWCA Clark County is reimagining what’s possible for survivors and future generations across Southwest Washington.
