Cultivating Leaders at A.G. Rhodes
A.G. Rhodes recently welcomed its second class of Leadership Development Program participants, and they will spend six months gaining hands-on leadership experience by working alongside members of the A.G. Rhodes support team. They will also work with a Leadership Instructor who will teach courses in leadership development, cross-cultural communication, diversity and inclusion, team building, and emotional intelligence.

Employee Spotlight: Chentail Barrett


Chentail Barrett has always had the heart to serve. She’s been working as CNA in long-term care for about 30 years, the last 13 of which have been at A.G. Rhodes Cobb. She says her calling is to help others, and she loves the hands-on experience she gets as a CNA.

“I love to take care of people. I love to make them look good, and I love being there for them. It’s very fulfilling for me.”

Happenings in Our Homes
It's been quite a month at A.G. Rhodes! From National Cheeseburger Day to GSU volleyball games to dance and art classes to "manis" for the ladies, our residents (and staff) are having a blast! We are grateful for our volunteers and community partners who helped with all of these fun activities. And let's hear it for Ms. Annie Moore, A.G. Rhodes Atlanta resident (bottom left), who turned 103 years young this month!

In Memory Of...
Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Nadine Martin, longtime Dietary Manager at A.G. Rhodes Wesley Woods, who retired in 2009 after a 33-year career with the organization.
