AI agents are redefining how organizations operate. This free session offered by the School of Continuing Education breaks down what AI agents are, why they matter, and how companies are using them today.

David Delgado will guide us through the latest AI innovations and their impact on education and what matters for instructors. We will explore strategies to utilize the newest tools to help integrate AI into your next course.

Register to join the Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute (NMDSI) event on February 12 from 8:30–11:00 a.m. for a discussion on how leading Southeast Wisconsin companies and academic institutions are shaping educational models and curricula to equip students and the workforce with essential skills. This free event is offered in hybrid format with in-person or virtual registration available. 

Join educators from UWM, MATC, and Milwaukee Public Schools for an M‑Cubed professional learning event focused on strengthening student pathways from high school into and through college in ELA, Science, and Math.

The UWM Women Leaders Conference, hosted by UWM's School of Continuing Education, this conference features internationally renowned speakers, expert-led breakout sessions, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Faculty are reminded to submit all textbook and course technology needs for Summer 2026 by March 23. Completing submissions on time ensures materials are available for students and supports a smooth start to the term.

Today marks the official start of UWM's ACUE course experience. Congratulations to the 110 faculty and instructional staff who are participating in the professional development course offered by ACUE as part of a grant program. Three cohorts of faculty are exploring effective teaching online or in-person. Thank you for your involvement in advancing teaching and learning!

The Creating Graded Canvas Discussions article provides steps to create a graded discussion in Canvas. By making a discussion graded, you utilize Canvas SpeedGrader to quickly track the number of posts or contributions a student has made to a specific discussion forum in your Canvas course site.
