Honors students from the Ecology and Legacy Integrated Minor just returned from an unforgettable field study in East Africa!
As part of a Mount Kenya hike, Honors students were guided by the tourism warden and the head of search and rescue of the national park. They learned about the history of Mount Kenya, the ecology of the land, and process of a search and rescue and some difficulties of it. The students were grateful to have learned more about Mount Kenya and were happy to say they hiked a piece of the second largest mountain of Africa!
