The U.S. Air Force Academy Association & Foundation has recently learned of the death of Lt. Col. (Ret.) Michael D. Flynn, CS-35, Class of 1982. Col. Flynn passed away on Jan. 4, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 16, 2026, at the USAFA Cemetery, 3024 Parade Loop, USAF Academy, Colorado. Base access details to follow when available.
His family has suggested memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Lyme Disease research.
