We Made It to the Finish Line, TOGETHER!

In a year like no other, WE DID IT! The steadfast commitment and resilience of our faculty,  administration, staff, and families truly shined and we are most proud that our students learned, created, laughed, played, and thrived all year, in person, on our campus.
As a full community, we honored our commitment to one another – we masked up, kept our distance, gave air hugs, scrubbed our hands, and made sacrifices.  And while it was hard, it was worth all the effort so that we could be together to nurture the minds and hearts of our Dragons.
Thank you for believing in us. 

Summer Assignments

Whether you call it the Summer Slide or the Brain Drain, students can lose ground in reading and math over the summer break. To help our students practice what they learned this year, St. Michael's has posted summer assignments and recommended reading lists for grades 1-8 via the button below, along with Fall 2021 Back to School supply lists. 

You may also find this information on our website under "Community/Summer-Back to School."  Now that the school year is complete, our administrative team will be finalizing Back to School information. Please check the aforementioned website link in mid-late July for updates.
2021 Summer Assignments and Supply Lists

Parent Portal: Back to School Forms Due July 15 

St. Michael's is shifting all student Back to School forms, health and athletic forms, and medical information to a secure online database for the upcoming school year.  As of May 1, you have access to your Magnus Health account through the PowerSchool Parent Account that you have created.  Click HERE for a short video on how to access your Magnus Account through PowerSchool.
We ask that you enter the health information required within your Magnus Health account for each child attending St M no later than JULY 15.  There may also be some additional Back to School forms due in late August.  Please contact Dave Grossman, Director of Technology with any questions.
NEW FAMILIES: You will receive an email next week from Alison Roussy, Associate Director of Admissions, containing instructions and your individual login codes to our PowerSchool/Magnus Health Portal. Stay tuned!

Summer Administrative Office Hours

St. Michael's will observe summer office hours starting the week of June 14. 
  • Our Administrative Offices will be open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. (Closed on Fridays)
  • Our Extended Programs Summer Camp team will be working Monday-Friday during camp hours, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

We have a collection of unlabeled coats, jackets, and more in our Lost and Found box. If you are missing anything, please contact the front offices at 804-272-3514. Uncollected items will be donated by the end of June.

It's a Wrap!


This will be our FINAL NEWSLETTER of the 2020-21 school year. We will resume again in mid-August. Of course, any pertinent information that needs to be shared with our families will be emailed this summer.
