Sukkot on the National Mall

Kick off your Sukkot celebrations with the US Department of Agriculture at their final Farmers Market of the season. Spend the morning making decorations, listening to live music, and tasting fresh produce, followed by a sukkah dedication ceremony at the People’s Garden. After the Farmers Market, stay on the Mall to enjoy the sukkah at the World Culture Festival. These events are co-sponsored by Federation and PJ Library of Greater Washington.

Young Adults Night in the Sukkah

Calling all young adults (21-35)! Join Federation Shlicha (Israeli emissary), Uriel Lin, and B’nai Israel Congregation for a special Sukkot celebration. Learn how to make Limonarak, a popular Israeli cocktail, and have dinner in the sukkah.

Hear from Ana Sazonov, a humanitarian aid worker from Ukraine, about her personal story from the frontlines and the needs as the war rages on.

Join Sephardic Heritage International DC and the Embassy of Israel for a special concert featuring Shir Malka Ifrah, an Israeli liturgical artist, as well as other musicians of different backgrounds and religions from Israel, the United States, Morocco, and Australia. Co-sponsored by Federation.
