What to know today:

Part two of our series celebrating 20 years of Creative Inquiry focuses on the impact of the Humanities Prison Initiative, a project in the Creative Inquiry + Undergraduate Research (CI) program that one student calls "the most meaningful thing" he’s done at Clemson.

Clemson's outdoor summer music series "On The Ave" returns May 13 . Co-hosted by the City of Clemson and the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts, the series will run every Tuesday through June 24.

NEWS AND UPDATES

Next year, counselor education faculty members from the College of Education will serve back-to-back leadership appointments in a national assessment and research association. Associate professor Amanda Rumsey will serve as president-elect for the Association of Assessment and Research in Counseling (AARC) for the 2025-26 year, a position currently occupied by associate professor Ryan Cook.

CCIT Tech Tip: When emailing students, faculty and staff are reminded to always use @clemson.edu email addresses, not @g.clemson.edu. Clemson is in the middle of a multi-year process transitioning students to Exchange, so not all students currently have Gmail accounts. Using the correct address ensures your messages are received.

Clemson Online is offering various workshop sessions this summer for instructors. Topics range from in-depth Kaltura training, setting up Canvas Gradebook and SpeedGrader and applying the Community of Inquiry framework to time-saving teaching tools and more.
