Highway Wolf Brings Fleetwood Mac Classic to the Wild Side in "Silver Springs" Video

San Francisco, CA, September 20, 2024…The official music video for Highway Wolf’s rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s "Silver Springs” has been released today. This captivating video showcases the unique interpretation of the track by Highway Wolf, a musical project led by San Francisco-based singer and drummer Mick Hellman.

The music video was created by California native artist Josh Clark, marking his third collaboration with Highway Wolf. Like the previous videos, “Silver Springs” features Hellman's pup, "Purdie," transforming into the iconic Highway Wolf. As he races through the woods, howling at the moon, and longing for connection, the visuals mirror the emotional depth of Stevie Nicks' lyrics. Highway Wolf’s journey throughout the video reflects the heartache and yearning at the core of “Silver Springs,” culminating in his search for love and a partner.

Highway Wolf's debut album, Purdie's Dream, which features “Silver Springs,” offers a fresh take on iconic tracks from the 70s and 80s. The project embodies the essence of "the call"—whether to music, love, or life’s purpose—while weaving in powerful wolf imagery.

Mick Hellman and his creative partners, Tal and Amber Morris, are hard at work on Highway Wolf’s second album, slated for release in 2025.
