Dr. Stewart took on a new role in our school as school president on July 1, 2023.
On the second day of school, Aug. 17, we all gathered together to celebrate [and crown] our third president in CAC's history through a very special coronation ceremony in chapel. Dr. Andrew Paul Stewart was unaware of this ceremony but said he was truly honored to accept his new role. He expressed excitement for many things during the upcoming school year.
“I think all the construction has been fun, I'm ready for our football stadium to open, new scoreboard, and new elementary school — I think there's a lot of opportunity for all of us to hang out with our kindergartners,” he said.
Our new president shows great compassion towards our school community, and he emphasized in his first address as president [king] that he doesn't want to be the focus.
“It's not about me — it's about the school, the students, our faculty and our parents. It's not about me,” Dr. Stewart shared with students and staff at the Aug. 17 chapel.
Dr. Stewart said that when he was growing up, he never took losing easily. He holds CAC to a high standard and truly cares about each and every student and faculty member.
“I want to know how you guys are, I wanna know how people are, what they are doing, and honestly I just want to celebrate successes," he said. "I want us to go beat everybody in athletics, I want us to produce the best fine arts performances, and I want us to be the best at everything we do.”
We are looking forward to a great year and many more to come with Dr. Stewart as our new leader.
