Thanks to your incredible generosity, we were able to collect 1,671 items to support our hardworking backside staff and team throughout this race season. This effort goes far beyond numbers and represents a community coming together to care for the people who play such an important role behind the scenes. These donations help to ensure that these dedicated individuals have access to food each day. It’s a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together for a great cause. BALLET DES MOINES: Glass Slipper Ball |
The Glass Slipper Ball is Ballet Des Moines’ annual fundraising gala celebrating the very best Des Moines has to offer. The elegant, sold-out evening brought together 250 guests from emerging leaders to established community icons for a memorable night of fine dining, custom cocktails, and exceptional artistic experiences. Inspired by Ballet Des Moines’ upcoming world premiere of Cinderella in collaboration with the Des Moines Symphony, the event beautifully showcased the creativity and vibrancy of our region. Prairie Meadows is honored to support an organization that enriches our cultural landscape and brings world-class artistry to central Iowa.

ANIMAL RESCUE LEAGUE: Raise Your Paw Auction |
Animal Rescue League’s Raise Your Paw Auction is the organization’s largest annual fundraiser dedicated to caring for the thousands of pets who come through its doors each year. The disco-themed evening brought together a passionate community of animal lovers for a fun and meaningful night featuring live music, appetizers, and the chance to bid on more than 250 silent and live auction items. Guests also enjoyed special moments like visiting with the ARL’s TheraPet teams and relaxing in the popular Kitten Cuddle Lounge, making the event both heartwarming and memorable. Prairie Meadows was proud to be part of an event that helps provide care, shelter, and second chances for animals in need while strengthening the bond between pets and the people who love them.
