Thank you for the Support

It makes our hearts sing to see alumni in the stands- and we've seen many of you recently supporting both the arts and athletics here at Ensworth. Thank you for sharing an evening with us for The Wiz; thank you for rooting on our Boys' and Girls' basketball teams in the TSSAA tournament, and thank you for cheering loud and proud alongside us when our girls took home the championship title! Baseball and lacrosse seasons are in full swing and spring concerts are just around the corner; visit the school calendar for more info, and contact Nancy Palmer-Gift '03 in the Alumni Office with any and all questions.

The Wiz now adds to the lineup of iconic Ensworth performances.
Founding Head of High School David Morgan recently reflected on the inception of the High School during his final "Mornings With Mr. Morgan" to an audience of current parents, parents of alumni, colleagues, and friends. Mr. Morgan will step down as head of High School at the end of this school year and will pass the torch to Nowell Hesse from Isidore Newman School in New Orleans.
Click here to learn more about Nowell, and join us in sending gratitude to Mr. Morgan for his dedication and direction over the past 17 years.
Slam Dunk
If you were in the stands, you know how hard these girls fought for that win. Congratulations to the 2019 TSSAA Champions! Their victory adds to our growing list of athletic accomplishments since the high school was founded in 2004:
Boys' Basketball State Championship Titles
2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014
Girls' Basketball State Championship Titles
2008, 2010, 2013, 2017, 2019
  • Are eighth graders still getting soaked in the dunking booth? YES
  • Does a lollipop with a dot on the bottom still get you a goldfish? NO
  • Are there bounce houses, trampolines, and lots of fun things? YES
It won't interrupt any Cinco De Mayo plans but it will stir up all sorts of jolly memories AND we promise we won't send your kids home with a goldfish in a bag.
Mark your calendars and we'll see you at Super Saturday on Saturday, May 4!
Watch your favorite traditions unfold for today's tigers, enjoy alumni throwback photos, and so much more!
