AARP News Features Private Room Plans at A.G. Rhodes Cobb

A recent AARP news story features A.G. Rhodes' plans to build a new building on our Cobb campus—and renovate the existing building—which will include private room accommodations for all residents. Click here to read the article, and to learn more about nationwide efforts and challenges in providing private room accommodations in nursing homes.
Construction is well underway at A.G. Rhodes Cobb and you can click here to see our progress through the Earth Cam we have mounted on the site.
Thank you!

Our residents and staff are grateful for all the individuals and groups that supported us this past holiday season through volunteer service, performances, gifts, and holiday cheer. It was wonderful to resume so many of the meaningful activities we especially enjoy during the holidays.

A.G. Rhodes Celebrates MLK Day

A.G. Rhodes residents and staff participated in various activities last month to recognize Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and his legacy of service. Thank you to Mocha Moms Georgia for bringing volunteers and supplies for a combined service project with teens and A.G. Rhodes Atlanta residents. And thank you to our A.G. Rhodes Cobb elders for volunteering your time to assemble toiletry kits and write notes of encouragement. Both service projects will benefit a local family shelter.

The Power of Positivity!

To help make A.G. Rhodes a more positive workplace, we are introducing a recognition program called Care Partner Praises. If you encounter an exceptional A.G. Rhodes Care Partner during a visit or volunteer activity, we invite you to fill out an online compliment card HERE and share your experience. We will recognize those Care Partners who receive compliments.
