GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

The U.S. Air Force Academy Association & Foundation has recently learned of the death of Dr. Joseph L. Romett, CS-33, Class of 1972. Dr. Romett passed away on Feb. 21, 2026, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on March 26, 2026, at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Dr., Colorado Springs, Colorado.  

A burial service will be held at 1 p.m. on March 27, 2026, at the USAFA Cemetery, 3024 Parade Loop, USAF Academy, Colorado.

His family has suggested memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to Life Network or Fostering Hope Colorado Springs.
