Dear St. Lukers,
If you’ve been in Founder’s Hall in the last week, you may have noticed a bit of a change in scenery - literally. Things are kicking into high gear in the next couple of weeks as the finishing touches are put on our upcoming production of Mary Poppins
have to tell you, when I catch up with pastor friends around the country, the stories I share of what is happening in my ministry are usually drastically different than my colleagues’ stories. (No one else I know is navigating the intricacies of how to make a nanny fly at their church.)

This show is certainly the biggest we have ever taken on at St. Luke’s, and I have been blown away by how we have collectively come alongside one another to bring this story to life.
The number of hours St. Lukers put into every one of our productions is incalculable. This ticketed event includes a sneak peek at music from St. Luke’s production of Mary Poppins and time for pictures with some of the cast. Tickets are $15/child and $20/adult (space is limited). Registration closes tomorrow, so reserve your seats TODAY by clicking the button below!
Maxey and Mollie Ray Elementary School Backpack Shops provide students and parents the excitement of choosing a backpack and school supplies. St. Luke’s goal is to raise $8,000 to purchase supplies and backpacks at a deeply discounted rate (close to 75% off), allowing students to pick their favorite one and shop for supplies at our partner schools. This year, we are collecting just 50 empty backpacks and financial donations for our bulk order through Sunday, August 4. To give and learn more click the button below.
All are invited to participate in St. Luke’s fourth annual Baptism by Immersion worship service on August 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the home of Jeff and Angie Winn in Windermere. This service is open to all children, youth, and adults who would like to be baptized for the first time, or who would like to participate in this special experience to reaffirm their baptism. For more information email care@st.lukes.org or call the Care office at 407.876.4991 ext. 262.
