Fellowship Members and Friends –
We hope that you’ll join us this coming Sunday, July 12th at 10 am to send Rev. Hannah off as she offers her final sermon before her four-month sabbatical starts on Monday, July 13th!
This sabbatical will be a time of rest, spiritual renewal, and study for Rev. Hannah. And it’s also an opportunity for the Fellowship community to remember the core mission and vision that drive who we are as a congregation, separate from the gifts of any particular minister. That includes each of us finding a way to show up for this community over the coming months. If you’re looking for a little incentive or guidance, you can check out the Sabbatical Bingo cards that Rev. Hannah has made for us! We’ll have hard copies on Sunday and in the office throughout her sabbatical. Turn yours in by Sunday, November 15th for a chance to win!
During Rev. Hannah’s sabbatical, we’ve arranged for excellent support for the Fellowship’s generosity and social justice ministries, as well as some extra preaching support. You can read more about the coverage plans here.
We’ve also compiled an FAQ about Rev. Hannah’s sabbatical that you can view here. We particularly want to lift up that this sabbatical means that Rev. Hannah will be out of touch with our congregation entirely during her four months away. This is an essential part of allowing her to get the necessary rest and spiritual renewal to sustain longevity in ministry.
We’re grateful for this congregation, and for the support that it offers us as your ministers.
In faith,
Rev. Christina Leone-Tracy
