Federation Partners with Shalom Hartman Institute of North America to Inspire Civic Engagement
Developed as a response to current challenges facing American and Jewish civic society, the partnership will convene approximately 200 Jewish leaders from across the DMV, as well as scholars from Israel and North America. We seek to inspire discussion and action across religious and political lines, and to strengthen our community by acknowledging diverse views, establishing common threads among us and generating leadership across platforms and sectors both secular and religious. The result will be a community that is learning, learned, nimbly responsive to current events and resilient in the face of challenges.
