Good morning! Clemson is partnering with BMW of North America on the latest Deep Orange 17 prototype. The Workday Training team will host a live webinar this morning covering how to make and manage purchases; The College of Education's Master of Education in Literacy program received a national honor.

What to know today:

Clemson is partnering with BMW of North America on the latest Deep Orange 17 prototype, a solar-powered, energy-positive concept vehicle. BMW was a founding partner of CU-ICAR in 2007, helping establish Clemson’s Department of Automotive Engineering and the world’s first Ph.D. program in automotive engineering.

The Workday Training team will host a live webinar at 9 a.m. on how to make purchases in Workday. Recordings of previous webinars on time tracking and managing expenses and travel are available in the Workday Training Library.

In Workday, the Foundation Data Model (FDM) replaces Clemson’s historic Chart of Accounts. This interactive search tool allows faculty and staff to identify and explore necessary FDM values.

This Week One Checklist details key actions to complete within the first week in Workday, including updating personal information and managing time and absence.

The College of Education's Master of Education in Literacy program was recently awarded National Recognition with Distinction for Preparation of Literacy Professionals by the International Literacy Association. It is the highest honor awarded by the organization.
