New Short Activity: Identifying Grooming Behaviors |
Grooming is any manipulative behavior that is used to prepare and coerce youth into sexual activity. It is also a tactic used on parents/guardians, staff, and even entire communities to build relationships, gain trust, and ultimately open the door for more access to youth. Use this short activity at your next staff meeting to prompt your staff to think through different grooming behaviors they may see within the course of their work.

New Micro-Learning: Preventing Breath Holding |
Extended, prolonged, and repetitive breath holding can be dangerous and lead to a hypoxic blackout, and even death. In our new micro-learning, we discuss the dangers of breath holding, who is at risk, and common behaviors lifeguards can look for to intervene. We encourage you to distribute this to your lifeguards as a quick refresher to help educate and empower them to stop all breath holding activities.
