Special Schedule Information for Dec.18 &19

We know our Dragons are counting the days until Christmas Break! Below is important scheduling info for this coming week:

*Monday, December 18: Full Day of School

Middle School students should be dropped with their backpacks at the Lower School Church between 8-8:15 a.m. (NOT at the Middle School) to attend the annual Christmas Pageant rehearsal.
The Middle School MUSICAL is having rehearsal on December 18 from 3-4:30 p.m. All actors are called.
Middle School BASKETBALL: Boys Varsity A practices at 3 p.m. and Boys JV (White) practices at 4:30 p.m.

*Tuesday, December 19: Half Day of School

Church doors open at 8 a.m. for the Christmas Pageant
Middle School dismisses at 11:45 a.m.
Lower School dismisses at noon.
Lower School afternoon Extended Day OPEN. No Middle School Extended Day.
No after-school activities (Model UN, swimming, basketball, etc.)

*Holiday Break:

Christmas break begins the afternoon of December 19-January 2.
Classes resume on Wednesday, January 3.

Middle School Yuletide Book Swap

On Christmas Eve in Iceland, families swap books so that everyone has something new to read while they wait for Christmas morning. The Middle School English department is hosting our own Icelandic-inspired "jolabokaflod" book swap on Tuesday, December 19 during English classes and after the 8th grade exam.

This week, bring used books you are ready to swap to Mrs. Flemming or Mrs. O'Dell. On the 19th, students may choose the same number of books they have contributed to take home and cozy up with while waiting for Christmas! Questions? Please contact your English teacher!

New Lunch Option for January

Don't miss out! Online lunch ordering for January CLOSES December 20.

We are excited to announce that we are adding Jason's Deli to our list of lunch providers. They will offer a variety of fresh sandwiches, soups and salads on Mondays.
